Did you know that June is officially Adopt A Cat Month? Kitties are very cute and fun little pets. Although our feline friends are small, they have very big purrsonalities. Kitties Are Helpful. Sort of.
Housecats have it pretty easy. After all, Fluffy does just get to lounge around all day, looking cute. Your feline buddy may seem aloof, but she’s actually very grateful to her human servants, and will lend a helping paw whenever she can. Some of the things your furball may try to assist you with include changing bedsheets, holding down the couch, decorating Christmas trees, and wrapping gifts.
Cats Are Nosy
We can’t really put our fingers on exactly why, but many of our feline friends are, well, rather intrusive. Fluffy may follow you around from room to room, and may even try to accompany you to the bathroom.
Fluffy Will Make You Laugh. A Lot.
Kitties are almost always hilarious when they are feeling frisky: it’s hard not to laugh when watching Fluffy pounce on a catnip mouse!
Cats Just Don’t Care About Some Things
At some point, you’ll call your furry buddy, start to worry when she doesn’t appear, and go looking for her, only to find her safe and sound and looking at you smugly. Cats can’t necessarily be bothered to come when called. Another thing that kitties don’t care about? Your sleep schedule. Your playful pet may pounce on your toes in the middle of the night, or gently smack your face to wake you up when she wants her breakfast. The caveat? Fluffy is so adorable that you probably won’t have the heart to get mad at her.
Kitties Have Interesting Tastes
At some point, your feline friend will become attached to or fascinated by some random, ordinary household object, such as an empty box or a crumpled up piece of paper. Fluffy may also completely ignore that expensive pet bed you got her, and sleep on the couch instead. There’s just no accounting for taste!
